Super Khudi Hydropower Limited is set to launch its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for the public on 4th Falgun, 2082. The firm will offer 12,86,500 shares with a face value of Rs. 100 each. The IPO’s initial closing date is 10th Falgun, 2082; however, if the offering is not completely subscribed by that date, the deadline will be pushed to 19th Falgun, 2082.
The company’s issued capital is Rs. 1.55 Arba. Of this, 20%—31,00,000 unit shares—will be offered to the public. From the total issued capital, 10% (15,50,000 unit shares worth Rs. 15.50 Crores) has already been allotted to locals affected by the project in Lamjung districts. The other 10% (15,50,000 unit shares) is set aside for the general public. Out of these, 1,55,000 unit shares have already been allotted to Nepalese citizens working abroad.
5% of the total offered shares, or 77,500 units, have been set aside for mutual funds, while 2% of the general public offering, or 31,000 units, have been set aside for the company’s workers. On the 4th Falgun, the remaining 12,86,500 units will be made available to the general public.
For the IPO offering, Global IME Capital Limited has been designated as the issue manager. A minimum of 10 units and a maximum of 1,000,000 units may be applied for.
Super Khudi Hydropower Limited’s (SKHL) issuer rating of “CARE-NP BB (Is)” has been reaffirmed by CARE Ratings Nepal Limited (CRNL). In Nepal, issuers with this grade are thought to present a moderate default risk in relation to the timely payment of debts. Additionally, CRNL has reaffirmed the long-term bank facilities’ “CARE-NP BB” grade. Additionally, SKHL’s short-term bank facilities have been rated “CARE-NP A4” by CRNL.
In order to establish a 26 MW (modified from 21.21 MW) run-of-river Upper Khudi Hydropower Project (UKHP) in Marshyangdi Rural Municipality of Lamjung District, Super Khudi Hydropower Limited (SKHL), a public limited company, was established on December 17, 2008. The project is being built using the Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer (BOOT) paradigm.
